Providing a combination of ready-to-launch cloud server products, acting as a value-added re-seller for hosted Exchange and possessing the knowledge of cloud best practices, Cloud Controllers can deliver a completely cloud-based IT infrastructure to SMBs. Amazon Web Services is cheaper than building and maintaining servers onsite and anyone can afford a reasonable flat monthly fee for server and application support.

The value-proposition of Cloud Controllers is simple- we are better than Software as a Service (SaaS), and cheaper than building applications and servers in-house.

1The cloud only makes sense if it saves your company money, and this belief drives our product offerings. Amazon Web Services EC2 infrastructure makes servers available at commodity pricing, and gives Cloud Controllers the tools to package base installations that are ready to launch in minutes. We absorb the cost of hours of work building and testing applications, so that when you become a customer, we start work immediately on the customization and training.

2Open source make good business sense for your company. We choose open-source software applications like iFolder that have been in development for years. Often these applications are sponsored by businesses that offer enterprise features and customization and/or support licenses (Alfresco and SugarCRM are good examples).

We’ll get you working with the free open source version, and give you sound advice regarding the suitability of upgrading to their enterprise plans or our ability to provide customization and/or enhanced support and training for the application.

3The cloud only makes sense if it offers you control and flexibility. To this extent, we ask for no contract "lock-ins" or commitments. With the exception of specialized setup fees or support Service Level Agreements (which are billed one-time or monthly) your fees for our managed hosting is calculated by the hour.

We configure your hosted application in such a way that you can take your application data and launch your own self-managed server on-premise, at another cloud provider, or on another AWS server not managed by Cloud Controllers. We’ll even provide you with engineer-level documentation on how to accomplish this and we are willing to work for hire to carry out the migration.
